Bluie Bridal Rental Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Bluie Bridal, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to protect both parties and ensure each Bluie piece can be enjoyed by multiple brides over time.
1. Rental Items & Ownership
All items rented through Bluie Bridal remain the property of Bluie Bridal at all times. You are responsible for the item from the moment it is delivered until it is returned and received by us.
2. Rental Duration
Standard rental periods are 4, 8, or 10 days (selected at checkout). The rental period includes both the delivery day and the return day.
We recommend choosing a rental period that allows enough time for try-ons and flexibility around your event date.
3. Delivery & Returns

Your item will be shipped to arrive on the first day of your rental period.

A prepaid return label is included in your packaging.

You must post the return on or before the final day of your rental period using the original packaging.

You are responsible for posting the item back via the provided courier service.
Late Returns

1 day late: £15 late fee
-
2–6 days late: £25 per day
-
7+ days late: The item is considered lost and you may be charged the rest of the full retail value.
4. Damage & Loss
You are responsible for returning the item in good condition.
Minor Damage
If the item has light scuffs, surface marks, or missing packaging:

If you added BluieCare at checkout, these issues are covered.

If not, you may be charged a fee between £15 and £50 depending on the extent of the damage.
Major or Irreparable Damage
If the item is returned damaged beyond repair (e.g. torn, crushed, soaked, or broken hardware), you may be charged the full replacement value, as listed on the product page.
Loss or Theft
If the item is lost, stolen, or not returned, you are responsible for covering the full retail value.
5. BluieCare Damage Protection (Optional)
BluieCare is an optional £15 add-on at checkout that includes:

Coverage for minor scuffs, marks, and lost packaging

Repairable damage up to a maximum of £100

1-day late return forgiveness
BluieCare does not cover:

Lost or stolen items

Irreparable damage

Repair costs that exceed £100
If damage exceeds £100 or the item cannot be repaired, you may still be liable for the full replacement value.
6. Deposits & Card Holds
Bluie Bridal may place a pre-authorised hold on your payment card via Stripe at the time of booking. This is not charged unless:

The item is returned with damage not covered by BluieCare

The item is returned late or not at all
7. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders cancelled 7 or more days before dispatch are eligible for a full refund.

Orders cancelled within 7 days of dispatch are non-refundable. In some cases, a credit note may be issued.

Early returns or unused rental time are not eligible for refunds.
8. Sustainable Returns
All items must be returned in their original packaging, including the box, dust bag, and care card. Please do not discard or keep any packaging, as this ensures a consistent experience for all Bluie brides and supports our commitment to sustainability.
